I purchased this to be able to use for different purposes… on skin and for “pulling”. Worked great, I noticed my teeth whiter too. It’s hard but melts easily. It softens quickly. It tastes a little the like coconut, not perfume at all. The size will last awhile because a little goes a long way. The jar doesn’t not leak:

Probably my favorite coconut oil. The lid is secure so nothing leaks. You definitely get your moneys worth with the size of the product. They fill it to the top. It melts easy when you need it to. Gives a great taste & can use it for multiple different things. It’s the perfect size even if you need to bring it with you somewhere. The texture is soft & even my dogs love it. Love the smell & it reminds me of summer.

The taste of this organic coconut oil is fantastic. It has a pure, natural coconut flavor that enhances the quality of the product. The packaging is user-friendly and convenient for storage. It’s designed to make the oil easy to access and use, which is a significant plus. Our family uses this coconut oil as a teeth whitener, and it works wonderfully. It leaves a fresh, clean feeling and contributes to a brighter smile. We also give a small amount to our dog during his weekly bath. It’s a great addition to his grooming routine, and he seems to enjoy it.This coconut oil is an excellent deal for the amount provided. It meets all our needs and expectations, making it a worthwhile purchase. This organic coconut oil is exactly what we were looking for. It’s versatile, high-quality, and affordable. Highly recommended for anyone in search of a reliable and multipurpose coconut oil.

Used it for my hair and skin and love it. Makes my hair shinier and stronger and makes my skin feel like silk and nice and moisturized. Melts perfectly for massages as well. Have not cooked with it yet so don’t know about the taste but seems much healthier than some options. Size of container for price seems fair. Clean up with paper towels is easy. It’s not all thick and sticky and hard to get off. It’s perfect smooth silky texture. I will repurchase when needed.

I was having issues with my hair – it was all over my home, I could put my hand through it and pull out a massive amount each and every time. My stylist was telling me that it was falling out like crazy when she washed it and that it was really dry. I do color it but not frequently and it was more likely from stress and life and not taking proper care of it specifically. My stylist told me she had purchased Coconut Oil from Amazon for her own hair but I didn’t know what kind but I knew I wanted to try it, not just for what it is supposed to do for your hair, but also for my skin as well as eating (or drinking) it daily in my food.At first I tried to eat it as a tablespoon as it is suggested on several websites I have read. It was ‘oily’, yes but had this sort of after ‘cling’ that I found hard to handle at first. Not the ‘hard to handle and I wont try again’ sort but the ‘hard to handle, It will be better tomorrow, it’s growing on me’ sort. And it did get better as the days went on. Now I love it.For my hair, I may put 3-4 fingertips dipped in the bowl two times as I have a lot of hair. I put it all over but my ends especially. I sometimes do it in the morning if I am staying home. It has a really yummy pleasant smell too. I don’t make my hair greasy but I do saturate it enough so I see the shine all over and that it coats the tresses that were unruly (frizzy parts from coloring or just dry etc.) It has worked very well and now I sometimes put it on when I am going out and let it do its wonders.I have noticed my hair is not falling out as much as it was but I also started taking Magnesium and brushing it daily (which I did not do in the past, I left it natural thinking doing less was good for it…. NOT) IMHO. I love the shine it gives my hair as I used to put products on my hair to specifically give it shine and this is one of the perks with Coconut Oil.I also have found that if I add 1-2 tablespoons everyday to my oatmeal before I cook it and add some nuts and dried berries or raisins after I cook it, it is creamy and delish!! It has always been a little thick and creamy but this definitely made it more creamy in a good way. The extra added flavor of the coconut also was minimal but enough to give it a tiny boost.I have been using the product religiously every day. I dont know if I see any tangible results from the small amount of time I have been using it for nutritional reasons but I do notice how it makes my hair and skin better.I have looked at many brands and types of oil and this had everything I was suggested was the optimal product. I keep some in a a bowl in the fridge and when I want to use it for skin or hair, I take it out to melt and use that. I separated it from the big jar because it is important, (I have read) to not put anything but a clean item in the main jar so as not to contaminate the product or make it have less effective properties. So I only use a large spoon that I wash before and after and I have the bowl in the fridge to dip my fingers in for hair and skin. When you leave it out, it melts, depending on the temperature to either a pure liquid oil or maybe a little is creamy like. Once you pour it in a bowl and place it in the fridge, it will harden again. It’s really easy to use on many things, smells great, tastes good once you acquire a taste for it, which I have now and is not expensive in respect to all the good it can do and products it can replace.I like the brand Viva Labs. I would recommend this product and brand. I bought the large one as it lasts a long time, doesn’t necessarily go bad quickly and I can separate it as I choose.

I recently bought a bottle of Virgin Coconut Oil, 16 fl oz, and I’ve been using it for both culinary and beauty purposes. Here’s a breakdown of my experience:On the Skin:Moisturizing: Coconut oil is a great natural moisturizer. It absorbs well and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated, especially during the drier months.Potential Benefits: Some users report that coconut oil helps with conditions like eczema or psoriasis. However, it’s important to consult a dermatologist before using it for any specific skin concerns. In the Hair:Deep Conditioning: I’ve been using coconut oil for deep conditioning hair treatments. It seems to add shine and manageability, leaving my hair feeling less frizzy.Scalp Soother: There are anecdotal reports of coconut oil helping with a dry, itchy scalp. As with the skin, consult a dermatologist for any scalp conditions before using coconut oil.In the Kitchen:Healthy Cooking: Coconut oil has a high smoke point, making it suitable for medium-heat cooking. I’ve enjoyed using it for sauteing vegetables or adding a subtle coconut flavor to curries.Dietary Considerations: While coconut oil is high in medium-chain triglycerides, consult with a healthcare professional or nutritionist to see if it aligns with your dietary needs.Things to Consider:Comedogenic: Coconut oil can be comedogenic for some people, meaning it can clog pores. If you have acne-prone skin, it might be best to do a patch test first.Solid at Cooler Temperatures: Coconut oil solidifies at cooler temperatures. If you prefer a liquid oil, you’ll need to warm it slightly to liquefy it again.Overall:I’ve been happy with the Virgin Coconut Oil I purchased. It’s a versatile product that I can use for cooking, hair care, and skin moisturizing. However, it’s important to consider potential drawbacks like comedogenicity and solidification at cooler temperatures. If you’re looking for a natural option for these purposes, this Virgin Coconut Oil is definitely worth trying, keeping in mind its potential pros and cons.

I love my little bottle of coconut oil, but I probably should have gotten the larger bottle for a few dollars more. I would encourage everybody to check out the different sizes and prices.I purchased this for my hair. I was watching some people that were claiming to really see a drastic difference using this kind of product. After a few weeks of use I can already tell my hair is getting thicker. Here’s what I mean, I typically shed all the time and have for many many years. I think this is due to an unhealthy scalp. This product moisturizes and does other things that I actually don’t remember, but it seems to be working really well. I also use the coconut oilWhenever I get in the shower I wet my entire body down, but specifically my head. I then take a small amount of coconut oil and put five to six drops of the rosemary oil and mix it together before massaging it into my scalp. You can see a picture of it behind my coconut bottle.I then proceed to wash the rest of my body so that it can soak into my hair. When I am finished I use my shampoo to wash the coconut oil out of my hair.

I’m very strict with my diet. I eat only organic foods, practice CRON (calorie restriction with optimal nutrition), eat minimal carbs and lots of nutrients. I’ve tested 7 brands of organic coconut oil — Nature’s Way, Nutiva, Spectrum Naturals, Bronner’s, Ziggy Marley Organics, VivaLabs, and 2 small scale raw food companies. Nature’s Way and VivaLabs are the best so far.The aroma of Nature’s Way and VivaLabs both are wonderful. The texture is much fuller than the other brands. This coconut oil has bolder taste and less watered-down feeling than the other brands. I know that the way coconut oil (and all oils for that matter) is processed is very important. Better processing methods preserve more nutrients, increase the natural flavor and aroma, and improved digestibility. So if you’re looking for a good organic coconut oil, this is one by Nature’s Way is excellent, as is VivaLabs brand too.Now for some quick facts about how amazingly healthy this stuff is:1) Medium chain fatty acids –> Digest very easily without requiring the gall bladder to do much work. Most fats require the body to work harder for digestion. Medium chain fatty acids energy the blood stream very quickly, with less digestion time than slow or long chain fatty acids, found in other oils. This makes coconut oil excellent for people missing gallbladders, having digestive problems or suffering from chronic fatigue.2) Converts to usable energy very quickly. Coconut oil is a much more balanced and less manic energy than any carbohydrate (fructose, lactose, glucose, etc). Carbohydrate break down quickly and elevate blood sugar and insulin levels rapidly. This creates the surge and crash. With coconut oil, the energy is delivered more slowly and evenly than carbs. Many people feel deeply nourished by coconut oil, like the food energy goes deeper within the body.3) Anti-viral, anti-parasitic, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal. Coconut oil keeps your digestive system very clean inside. It will destroy candida, and common cold bacteria and flu viruses. This helps to balance intestinal (probiotic) bacteria and gives the immune system support. Less sickness and more energy!4) Longer lasting energy without insulin levels being adversely affected. Fats are the cleanest burning energy for our body. Carbohydrates cause insulin levels to raise and crash, which is what creates the “eat every 3 hours” cravings that so many people this is hunger. Healthy fats, like this oil, will not affect insulin and give us much more stable energy that last longer in the body.5) Tastes great. Smells great.6) Can be used topically to make the skin very soft. Coconut oil is absorbed directly into the skin to nourish it (like a food for the skin), unlike most cosmetic moisturizers create a coating on top the skin. These often leave residue or cause long-term dryness by unbalancing the body’s innate skin oil balance. Coconut supports the skin’s natural oil balance. This also helps to reduce wrinkles!7) Great for hair and can be used as a leave-on conditioner. Like it’s skin use, coconut oil will not imbalance the hair’s natural oils…. unlike chemical-based conditioners. Plus, because coconut is anti-“everything bad” it will keep the hair clean too. Because there are so many different types of hair (dry, cracking, split ends, oily, curly, straight, etc) experiment with what works best. Try applying the oil only the the ends for extra protection from split ends. Or only to the scalp to stop dandruff (caused by scalp bacteria, often candida) or prevent hair loss.8)Natural soap for the body. Myself, some of my friends and others use coconut oil as a soap for the body. Most bar soaps and liquid bath soaps remove the skin’s natural oils and create dry skin. In fact, most people have dry skin and fail to see that the bath soap is causing it! We still need to clean our skin, but using coconut oil is better than soap in many cases. You may want to soap under the armpits, between the legs, on the hands and feet. But for the arms, legs, and torso (areas prone to dryness) try using only coconut oil. Here’s the protocol that I use. 1) Dry skin brush my entire body before stepping in the shower, to remove dead skin cells and increase blood flow to the skin (redness is good). 2) Rise the body with hot water to open the pores and increase blood flow to the skin. 3) Use a wet cloth or your hand to rub the skin rinse clean any loose skin cells. 4) Turn off the water and use your fingers/hands to rub a light layer of coconut oil everywhere (minus your head hair). A light layer is all that is needed. Apply with your skin still wet and you’ll see the water bead up. 5) Turn back on the water, this time to warm/cool, and rise off the excess coconut oil. Run your hand lightly over your skin to spread the excess coconut oil into places that may have less, and to help remove the excess altogether. Lightly is the key – you don’t want to remove the oil completely. 6) Exit the shower and lightly tap dry your skin with a towel (do not rub your take off the oil) or air dry. The skin will absorb the coconut oil in a few minutes. Your skin will be soft to the touch and not oily. Don’t worry, coconut is not like other oils – it won’t stain your clothes or make them smell rancid.9) Sunscreen and suntan lotion. Coconut oil protects the skin from the effects too much sunlight. Technically, coconut oil does not block the sunlight, like a UV sunblock would. Instead it prevents the harmful chemical reaction skin bacteria and skin fungus can have when exposed to the suns UV rays. It also moisturizes the skin, reflects back some light (the shine), and prevents sunburn. Personally, I lay out in the summertime sun in Arizona, Florida and Hawaii and when wearing coconut oil I can be out for 4-6 hours and not burn. In these powerful suns, 30 minutes to 1 hour of exposure without coconut oil and my skin is red and will peel days later. Although coconut oil does not block UV, it does wonders to protect the skin and create a great tan.10) Can be used as a sexual lubricant. Coconut oil is a natural anti-viral, anti-fungal, and anti-bacterial lubricant which helps keep these organs clean and reduce the spread of unwanted problem.11) Coconut oil detox cleanse. The medium chain fatty acids make this and ideal food for detox cleanses because the energy is available with minimal digestive effort, plus all of it’s anti-“everything bad” properties. The detox cleanse is a 3 to 7 day process where all carbohydrate foods are removed and coconut oil is eaten as the primary energy source (approx. 14 Tablespoons each day). The oil can be combined with organic lemon water as well. You can find the instructions by Googling “Natural News Coconut Oil Cleanse”. This is a very powerful detoxification because the bad guys are being killed by the oil. So be mindful. That’s it! I hope you enjoyed this review. The bottom line is that coconut oil is simply amazing! Nature’s Way and VivaLabs brands are the best I’ve found so far. Enjoy!*** Update: I found a good website for coconut oil information and recipes. It has summaries of many studies on coconut oil. Visit coconutdiet (dotcom)

I give this to my babies when I feed them. It helps with many things like digestive issues skin coat and many other things. I only give this to my dogs maybe 3 times a.week as a lil.something extra. The packaging was intact when I received it. It wasn’t leaking and the lid wasn’t broken. My fur babies love the taste of the coconut oil so that makes it so much easier for me when giving it to them. I melt it down and add it to their food. I have been using this for a very long time.on every dog or cat I have owned and never had any issues. My fur babies have had better looking skin, coats and their digestive system has done very well on it and has even helped my 2 1/2 year old golden rottie with his sensitive tummy.
